Dr. Ralph Day
new patient info

Consultations
A consultation is usually required to discuss your individual dentistry. I will describe your present dental condition based on the exam and, if required, make a recommendation for the dentistry required to restore your mouth to a healthy, comfortable and attractive condition. For those patients apprehensive about dental procedures, different methods of pain control such as nitrous oxide and pre-operative medication, are discussed. Fee payment and appointment scheduling can also be discussed at this time.

Examinations
The initial examination appointment usually includes a cleaning and an exam. The complete and thorough exam is in two parts, clinical and radiographic (x-rays). The clinical examination shows what can readily be seen. The radiographic is necessary to show what cannot be seen by the eye alone.

Recall visits
Regular preventive dental health care is a sound investment. While the responsibility for returning for this treatment rests primarily with you, I will provide a written reminder when it is time for you to return for a cleaning and exam. Please telephone for an appointment when you receive this notice.
